School Shop

You can now purchase your child’s uniform from the onsite School shop. The shop is located in main School reception and open Mondays 2.30pm – 4.00pm and Thursdays 4.00pm – 5.00pm in term time.

 

Summer Holiday Opening Times – Year 6 Parent/Carers Only

Wednesday 24 July              9am to 1pm and  2pm to 4pm

Thursday 25 July                  9am to 1pm and  2pm to 4pm

Friday 26 July                       9am to 1pm and  2pm to 4pm

We have allocated the first week of the summer holidays purely to the current Year 6 students. If you can, please come during these dates but if this is not possible we are also open at the following times:

Please remember that the summer holidays is particularly busy time for uniform, so if necessary please queue outside the shop until a member of staff is ready to help you. 

 

Payment Methods and ParentPay

Payments can be made by cash or card (Visa, V Pay, Mastercard and Maestro) at the shop. When your child has started with us in September, you will be able to pre-order items and pay by ParentPay. 

 

Exchange and Refund

Items are covered by a 3 month guarantee against manufacturing faults, for example faulty stitching or broken zips. Proof of purchase will be required.

Uniform

Students should all be wearing the correct uniform both in school and on the journey to and from school.  Blazers should be worn around school and as students enter and leave lessons. Shirts should be tucked in and skirts should be worn without modification.  Students should take pride in wearing their uniform and remember that they are ambassadors for the school when they are seen wearing it.  

 

We take great pride in our uniform and think our students look fantastic.

 

Uniform – Girls

  • School Blazers – Navy blazer with school badge.
  • Blouses (Girls) – White revere collar (short, three quarters or long sleeved) tucked firmly into skirts.
  • Skirts – Checked fabric is available in pleated or straight styles (pleated only from Sept 2020). This should be worn no more than 2 inches above the knee and should not be modified/altered.
  • Pullovers– Navy blue with green stripe (optional)
  • Trousers – Charcoal grey conventional cut trousers.  Jeans and leggings are not acceptable.
  • Tights – Navy blue/black
  • Shoes – traditional style black school shoes. No trainers, daps, or fashion shoes. Heels may be no more than an inch.
  • Outdoor wear – Coats/Jackets should be practical and discrete in colour (no leather, denim or tracksuit style tops)

Jewellery, Hair and Makeup

  • Makeup – We have a no makeup policy for students in Year 7 and 8. We appreciate that as young people get older they become more self-conscious and so we permit a discreet application of makeup for students in Years 9, 10 and 11. Students will be asked to remove any makeup that is deemed excessive by their tutors. 
  • Piercings – We allow students to have small, plain ear studs. No nose rings or studs are permitted. All piercings need to be removed or covered during PE/Games.
  • Rings and Bracelets –  No rings or bracelets should be worn (including hair ties around wrists).
  • Hairstyles – Extreme hairstyles (eg completely shaved, mohawk)  are not permitted and if hair is dyed it must be a natural hair colour.

  • Shirts – Traditional white shirt with long or short sleeves tucked firmly into trousers
  • Trousers – Charcoal grey conventional cut trousers.  Jeans and leggings are not acceptable.
  • Tie – Should be worn with all shirts.
  • Pullovers– Navy blue with green stripe (optional)
  • Shoes – Black; no trainers or daps style fashion shoes. Should be worn with black/grey socks only
  • Outdoor wear – Coats/Jackets should be practical and discrete in colour (no leather, denim or tracksuit style tops)

PE Uniform

Students will be required to wear the following for PE and Games lessons, All PE Uniform MUST be clearly labelled:

Girls PE Uniform:

  • Polo Shirt – Short sleeved Navy/turquoise fitted Victory PE shirt with school logo
  • PE Bottoms – Navy/turquoise skirt with cotton short or Navy/turquoise sports shorts with breathable inner.
  • Trainers – suitable sporting trainers
  • Socks – Navy and turquoise  school socks
  • Hoody – Navy hoody with school logo
  • Sports Extras – Shin pads must be worn for all football and hockey lessons.

Woollen gloves (not mittens), may be worn for hockey during the winter. 

It is strongly recommended that students wear a gum shield for hockey and rugby.

Boys PE Uniform:

  • Polo Shirt – Short sleeved Navy/turquoise fitted Victory PE shirt with school logo
  • Trainers – Navy/turquoise blue shorts with breathable inner Suitable trainers
  • Socks – Navy and turquoise school socks
  • Hoody – Navy hoody with school logo
  • Football Boots – Metal studded boots for grass / only trainers / moulded studs for Astro
  • Sports Extras – Shin pads must be worn for all football and hockey lessons. 
  • Rugby Shirt – Short sleeved Navy/turquoise Challenge cotton Rugby shirt with school logo

It is strongly recommended that students wear a gum shield for hockey and rugby.

Hair – For all PE and games activities, students with long hair should keep their hair off the face using hair ties or hair clips.

General information

Students will only be excused from PE or games lessons on receipt of a signed note from his/her parent/carer or a medical note. Students who are excused PE or games are expected to bring and change into the correct uniform. They will take a full part in the lesson acting as a coach, leader or official.
