Writhlington School will again be taking a group of up to eight students to China for 10 days over October half term 2016. This trip is open to any student who will be in Year 10 or above next year.
This is a really exciting opportunity to visit a country which is an eclectic mix of ultra-modern buildings and stereotypical Chinese pagodas and canals. You will have an opportunity to spend time at one of our link schools in Suzhou where you will teach lessons to Chinese students, and deliver a presentation at an Education Conference. You will have a homestay with a Chinese family for one night which is a unique chance to experience real life in China. There is also plenty of time for sight-seeing in Suzhou, Shanghai, Xian and Beijing, visiting the Great Wall, the Terracotta Warriors and the Oriental Pearl TV Tower.
The cost of the trip will be approximately £1850, which will include flights, accommodation, entrance into attractions and most meals.
