The last day of term saw over 45 students turn up in their new hoodies ready for the long coach ride to Zell am See in Austria. They were at the start of a snow-filled adventure that would see them enjoy the stunning scenery and excellent skiing conditions of the Austrian Alps. Mr Marshall, Mr Latham, Mr Bridges, Miss Taylor and Miss Jones accompanied them for the week.
The ski trip was as inclusive as possible and included a variety of slopes suitable for a range of abilities. There were also five hours of ski instruction per day for those who wanted it. With the days spent on the slopes followed by after dinner activities like swimming and ice skating, there was no time to get bored. With perfect weather, blue skies and plenty of good ski-quality snow everyone was able to indulge themselves.
Even the delay in crossing the Channel on the return journey could not dampen everyone’s high spirits.
