Topping the Writhlington Library book rental list this month are books by celebrated author, Natasha Farrant, coinciding with her visit to the Dragonfly Theatre.  Writhlington Library paired up with Waterstones in Bath to welcome Natasha Farrant who is on tour with her latest book “Lydia: The Wild Girl of Pride & Prejudice”.

Lydia: The wild Girl of Pride and Predjudice is a fresh, funny and spirited remaining of Jane Austen’s Pride and Predjudice, bringing to life the voice of the wildest Bennet sister like never before.

Natasha gave an inspiring talk on becoming an author, delving into her research methods, inspirations and creating heated debate about the trials and tribulations of growing up in the Georgian/Regency era

Year 8 student Finlay Saunders said:

‘ It is really good that we get to see so many authors at school. Her talks were really inspiring and I got to talk to her and ask lots of questions when I had my book signed. She has really inspired me to want to write more and to be more creative.’
