School Uniform Consultation

We are currently in a consultation process with regards to changing the school uniform. No decision has been made yet and therefore your views and comments are appreciated and will form part of the final decision making process.

The information received will clarify parental preferences and provide us with market research which will allow us to make a decision based on the opinions of all of our Stakeholders.

We would like as many students as possible to be in the new uniform in September 2016 however consideration will be given to current Year 7 – 8 students to have the new uniform by September 2017 in a phased approach.

As current Year 9 students will be in Year 10 in September 2016 they and the Year 11 students are exempt from uniform changes but can wear the new uniform if they wish.

Girls will have the choice of wearing a skirt or trousers

PE kit is not changing.

In response to parental demand, we have decided to sell all school uniform and PE kit from one outlet, this will be Writhlington Sports Centre.

If you have not yet replied to the survey, which was sent out via email, we would encourage you to reply, if possible, so that we have the information before we consult with the School Governors.
