Our Learning Community develops Successful, Happy, Creative, Active and Versatile young people, Confident to take on the Challenges of the 21st Century.
We have very high expectations at Writhlington: of conduct, behaviour, academic achievement and sporting prowess. All young people can achieve greatness and it is our job to ensure that they have the opportunity to do so.
At Writhlington every member of staff contributes to the development of our young people. Whatever their role, we expect all staff to support our learners, challenge them to excel and celebrate their achievements. It is only through the close working relationships that we can move to outstanding provision and beyond.
Our aim is that students will leave Writhlington, successful, confident, ready to take on new challenges and able to take the setbacks that life will deal them. They will have the courage to act on their convictions even in the face of adversity and the wisdom to treat others with the respect and courtesy that they would expect themselves.
We all as a body of staff are working to ensure that we fulfil these aims.
